On this day of the photo, the wind was whipping as you can see by the flag fully furled against the stormy sky. I got out of the car and was instantly hit with a barrage of dust being thrown around by the winds fury. In taken 6 continuous photos during the frenzy of wind, this was by far the best one! It’s amazing seeing all 6 pictures how such a flag could withstand the constant 20′ distance of being whipped back and forth from slack to furled. Standing only feet away as I was, you could actually hear the “Pop” as if it were being cracked by ‘Indiana Jones’ whip itself.
I promise, fully furled it’s impossible to overlook. I on this day was blessed to be passing by at the most opportune moment possible! As big as it is, I’m sure you won’t miss it either way so just keep an eye out for it.
