The ‘Learning Pond’ is an educational tool aimed at the younger generation to teach them about different kinds of local fish and feeding them. Seen here is the lucky child chosen to toss a sardine into the pond full of hungry fish awaiting their free meal. There’s an expert teacher nearby with a headset instructing the boy and telling the audience about the differences between the species in this man-made 30′ x 40′ pond. The FREE feedings and lessons commence daily at 4:00 pm sharp.
You can find this educational ‘Learning Pond’ outside of Captain Hooks at Mile Marker 53.0 oceanside.
