Old Bahia Honda Bridge (northern end)

ABANDONED BEAUTY! (part #2) I had such a GREAT response to the photos in the Bahia Honda Bridge (southern end) that I moved up the northern end photos for today.

I’ve assembled six unique views of the more popular tourist rich northern end for your viewing consumption. The view is nothing less than Astounding, Magnificent, Breathtaking & Awesome. The abandoned northern end of the bridge is a tourist attraction and therefore safer than the forgotten step-cousin no guard rail standing-on-the-edge southern end.

Click here to see the Old Bahia Honda Southern End blog written earlier… it’s too cool I promise!

To see the Northern End go to Mile Marker 36.9 on the Atlantic Ocean side of the road to the Bahia Honda State Park entrance and paying your entrance fee. Park your car and walk up to the paths leading to the observation deck. These photos tell the story so much better than I could and with that, here’s the remaining five northern end photos of the old abandoned Bahia Honda Bridge. You’ve GOT to put this on your TO-DO list!
