Crocodile Lake

Welcome to Crocodile Lake! Hmmm, I wonder how it got its name? 🙂 I remember now, there’s plenty of crocodiles!

This is a great unique sign for your souvenir scrapbook! Don’t bring a picnic lunch expecting to admire crocodiles while eating fried chicken because this place has no picnic or viewing area, just the National Wildlife Refuge office, a crocodile sculpture, informational signboards, and a small but beautiful butterfly garden. (it’s a refuge, not a park) Hmmm… you know what, on second thought, if you have a mother-in-law you’re not very fond of just give her a bucket of chicken and drop her off! (crocodiles love chicken) 🙂

To find this uniquely named Crocodile Lake sign go to MM 107.0 on US-1 and head north on Card Sound Road driving 1.9 miles where you’ll see it on your left.
