Key Lime Pie Recipe… Yum Yum!

A delicious Florida Keys specialty found throughout its entire 127 mile span. Shops line your gorgeous drive accompanied with strategically placed billboards reminding you to try our world-famous iconic Key Lime Pie.

I was born and raised on this treat never getting enough and always looking forward to my next bite! So many tourists can’t resist the temptation of ordering a piece during their visit whether they’ve tried it before or not. Nearly every restaurant serves some variation of this all-time classic Key West dessert.

Here’s a postcard’s recipe: Separate 4 eggs. Combine egg yolks and one 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Slowly add 3 oz. Key Lime juice and stir until filling is smooth and creamy. Pour into graham cracker pie crust. Place in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Serve chilled topped with whipped cream. Remember, save me the first piece! 🙂
