The Hungry Tarpon Restaurant

Wow, what can I say about the unbelievable selection of Florida Key’s restaurants that line the 128-mile drive to Key West!

We experienced the delicacies first hand last weekend stopping here at the Hungry Tarpon Restaurant and having breakfast before heading out on a boat for a day of island hopping. Our guest and guide for the day Scott, had a southwestern craving ordering the Rancho Grande covered in green picante sauce while my better half ordered a mouth-watering delicious grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomatoes… YUM, YUM! It was AWESOME!

If you want an incredible eating experience on your next trip to the United States Southernmost City then stop on by at Mile Marker 77.5 off US-1 bayside. Simply ask anyone where Robbie’s Marina is, home of the ‘Tarpon Feeding’ and directly in front of it sits this small astounding restaurant full of down home Keys cooking putting their own spin on some all time classic dishes.
